The Perfect EP

The Perfect EP, so called because it contains the track Perfect, is an eclectic mix of songs that span the genres of Ska, Funk and Eighties Synth Pop. As with all Project Melv!s productions, the goal is to create original but accessible music. Unless you concentrate you may not release that Clarity (NSFW) is an ode to corporate angst and no matter how carefully you listen it may still be difficult to hear that the rhythm of Oh L is banged out on a selection of kitchen accoutrements.

This collection of songs are a result of the idea that spawned Project Melv!s, the idea being to create an original soundtrack for a novel. The songs on the EP follow the same story arc as the upcoming novel, a romantic black comedy set in Sheffield that is set for publication in 2022.
