Clarity is a radio edit version of the open track of The Perfect EP. Following the overarching philosophy of Project Melv!s to subvert the norm within the limits of accessibility, it combines lyrics driven by the angst of a corporate existence with silky latin bossa nova beat.  Producer Tom Henthorn described it as “Dark, cheery bossa nova for the overworked office romantic.”, which pretty much reflects the juxtaposition of lyrical and musical themes. Clarity is what you would get if Copacabana had meeting rooms.
