Provisionally Yours is the debut single from Mel Small’s Project Melv!s. It is an apathetic love song that fuses electronic cadence and acoustic syncopation to produce a laid back vibe that conjures images of a dimly lit basement jazz bar frequented by beautiful people with broken souls.
Provisionally Yours was selected from 200 tracks submitted to Tom Robinson’s Fresh On The Net portal for inclusion in the ten favourite tracks for that week. The reviewer of these tracks singled it out as his favourite, describing it as capturing moody film noir jazz soundtrack perfectly.
